It's been a tough two years for Freak Finances, and we are not pretending that it hasn't. But after many changes along the way, we finally achieved sustainable model and the future looks bright.
Freak Finances is a multi-currency budgeting tool, where the constant conversion of user's expenses and earnings against the actual exchange rates is in the center of the whole experience. This is our differentiator and the core promise of the product: you log any translation in any currency, and then get all your budget instantly converted in any other currency.
At first, the initial interest was alright, but the underlying technical foundation wasn't solid enough to scale. We learned a lot of painful lessons fixing it: from production database migration and conversion API swaps to complete interface redesign.
Now, two years later, Freak Finances is an extremely stable and robust product, ready to scale and grow. As always, available on iPhone, iPad and macOS.
